I was pleased to find this battery at a cheaper price than locally.

The extra icing on the cake was that shipping was a no charge. Thanks.

This is the second request for a review alraedy submitted. I have not changed my mind. I paid $!4.99 fror Expedited Shipment. The seller sent the package of two batteries by regular letter mail, which cost $0.59 The batteries are OK--work well--but arrived too late for use on the trip for which they were bought...and the seller pocketed the nearly- $14.00 change! So, overall, items good; service and ethics of seller bad.

"One of the best Sony batteries I've ever used...!!!" 2009-05-23
By El Fakir
Well, there's only a couple of things to say about this battery.

-Like others have stated, ALWAYS go with the original or OEM battery, those chinese imitations aren't good, and believe me, by mistake I think I bought one through eBay, and paid the price after a few months, it was dead.

-Thankfully, I've owned 2 Sony cams that have used the same type of battery, and its still kicking...without reviewing pictures, it easily gives me 500+ pictures and with reviewing around 400+ pictures...that's why I have 3 of this, so I could take my time and decided which I want to keep or delete.

-And try to keep them in there little plastic casing so the contacts get as few dust as possible and try to keep them in a place you wouldn't forget.

"Don't Use 1-Click Ordering or Purchase Elsewhere" 2009-02-24
By Peter Tran
Unfortunately, this review of this product has to get one star only because of Amazon.com's poor 1-Click Ordering. Granted I don't buy from Amazon.com frequently as I can find the same items from other online websites; however, I decided to purchase this Sony NP-FT1 battery using 1-Click Ordering. Doing this, I was charged the Standard Shipping versus given a choice to select the free Super Saver shipping. I reviewed my options and I couldn't set the shipping settings to select Super Saver shipping. I call Amazon.com's customer service, and unfortunately and expectantly, absolutely nothing can be done for me as my order had been already shipped.

"Nice camera bag. Wish it was smaller." 2009-11-23
By Marcus Anderville (USA)
I bought this camera bag for my Sony WX1 digital camera, which is very small. This means that the camera does not fit snug in the bag. There is a large amount of room in it for the camera to move around. There is enough room to fit an extra battery or something else in with it, but I don't do that so as not to scratch the camera.

With that being said, the front pocket of the bag is only large enough to fit a memory stick or cleaning cloth, which is really dumb. It seems like this bag was designed for the thicker, larger digital cameras from a couple of years ago. It would be a much better camera bag for the newer, smaller digital cameras being made now, if it was much smaller and maybe had more room in the front pocket.

However, it is very sharp-looking, is a great value for the price, and would be great for many of the cameras that are not as small and thin as mine.

"A great little pouch, just wish it had more storage pockets" 2009-11-01
By H. Hatje (UT, USA)
I got this mainly because of the belt-strap on the back. It's made of a nylon-polyester type strap which is very strong. Previous camera cases just never lasted as their straps always got ripped off when I got the pack snagged on objects I walked past. This case was different and I still have yet to see it wear out after much pulling and snagging. Bravo to the designers.

My only gripe with this case is, however, that there are few pockets for accessories, like the Manfrotto camera stand, or the extra battery, or even a Gary Fong flash diffuser. I wish there were more.

Still, it's a good solid case and I recommend it to those with few accessories for their point-n-shoot.

"Great low profile case with adequate storage for an everyday carrier..." 2009-08-28
By C. WILLIAMS (Alabama)
This is a great case to store your camera in. It is compact enough to avoid feeling bulky, yet allows enough storage for a Sony T series camera, an extra memory stick and an extra battery. It seems to offer adequate protection for the camera and is well worth the price.

 "GOOD PICTURES BUT---" 2010-02-03
By Grumpy Gramps (Wisconsin)
Gave this as a Christmas gift to my totally none technically-inclined wife. We both found it very difficult to use with totally non-intuitive controls and an essentially useless instruction manual. While we found the display to be crisp and clear, I found it took me hours to figure out how to down load albums of pictures from my computer ( I have a Mac), only to then find that locating and displaying said albums on the frame was even more difficult. Of course, the manual was totally useless for either operation. Be aware that buttons on the remote are only remotely related to the function claimed (i.e. the "ALBUM" button does not lead to a means to select an album to display, I'm not sure what it does do). Be also aware that a computer is required to actually create and organize albums. All other functionality seems to be similarly poorly thought out and controlled.

In summary, good display but very user non-friendly (my dear wife still can do little more than turn it on and accept whatever it chooses to show).

As with all Sony products, picture quality is great. Also the price is bit steeper than other no name brand products, but you have to pay more for quality. I believe I made the right choice when I purchased this product.

 "Nice Christmas Gift" 2010-01-12
By E. Naegele (Maryland)
My adult siblings and I wanted this for our parents. While it has some neat features, it's not loaded with stuff that they will never use, such as wifi. It was pretty easy to set up and load with photos, which is good because the instruction manual is a little vague in spots. It accommodates just about every type of camera card, as well as USB flash devices. The plain black frame with the Sony logo looks more like a TV or monitor than a picture frame.

 "Sony DPF-D92" 2010-01-08
By Arend Folkens (Portland, OR)
I had high hopes for this picture frame. It looked nice on the box, but once I uploaded my pictures, the quality of the pictures weren't too impressive. The contrast is very bright, and the color is artificially vivid. Reds are too bright and skin color is a mix of all sorts of other colored pixels. I am white, yet in every picture, it looks like I'm sunburned because the red is so overwhelming. Aside from the disappointing picture quality, it cycles through the pictures no problem (although for some reason a good number of my pictures from iphoto won't show up on the picture frame). For the amount of money I paid for it, I would have expected more. There are many other frames to choose from and I personally would not buy this one again. I would buy another Sony (if the picture quality was better) but for some reason, my 4 inch ipod touch has better picture quality and resolution than my big 9 inch picture frame.

 "Could be better" 2009-11-24
By
This frame is better than most, however, I cannot give it 5 stars because:

- the 15:9 aspect ratio (which is almost 16:9, the widescreen movie format) is no good!!! Most digital pictures are 4:3 or 3:2, therefore you will have significant areas of the screen wasted as black bars all the time!

- the resolution 800x480 is not good enough! The pixels are rather large when you hold the frame in your hands.

- red color is too saturated, and there is no control to adjust it. Skin tones come out unnatural.

- the black frame looks disproportionally wide - this just looks ugly.

Looking at DPF-D92 and DPF-D80 side by side, the D80 looks way better.

 "Fabulous photo-frame" 2010-01-18
By James Beddingfield (Houston, Texas, USA)
I am very happy with my Sony 10.2-inch electronic photo frame I purchased for my Mother at Christmas. I loaded over 1,000 photos onto the internal memory and I also inserted a SD Memory card into the frame with another 2,500 photos on it. I spoke with her on the phone today and asked how she liked her picture frame and she said it was the 'center of attention' during lunch each day at her house. They own a large ranch and feed the workers lunch each day and many of the photos on the frame were taken of everyday life on the ranch which includes all the workers. She said everyone absolutely loves it! I chose the Sony 10.2-inch frame because I wanted a name brand frame with a large picture. There were larger frames out there but they looked cheesy or had a 'made-in-the-garage' look to them. It also looks very stylish. It is sleek and substantial at the same time. On Christmas Eve, after everyone had opened their presents, I connected the frame to my Parent's Flat-Screen HD TV and the entire family sat there entranced by the large, crystal-clear images on their TV. It was spectacular! My Dad even said, "Now that was a wonderful way to end the evening". It is easy to use and the remote control gives you the power to easily pause and/or go back when you want to. It is certainly worth the price!

 "lacking key features" 2010-01-17
By L. Tran
I purchased this and ended up returning it. I was told the Sony X1000 10.2 was the newest, top end, highest quality product out there. Although the frame looks nice and picture quality is excellent, I was highly disappointed that it doesn't have the ability to play your own videos or mp3s. Before I ordered, I called Sony Customer Service to confirm and the rep told me that this was the top end product and so it SHOULD have these features. Turns out it doesn't. I have the Kodak Easy Share 10" currently and the Pandigital frame, which are a fraction of the cost, yet they have the abilility to play music/videos. It's also not intuitive to use...the remote works intermittently and there's no logic as to when you play the slideshow in multiple picture format or single. Frustrating.

I purchased this digital frame as a Christmas present for my husband. He was very specific about wanting a frame that showed pictures in very good quality.  "Outstanding Picture Quality" 2009-12-07
By Jack Gadzala
This is my third photo frame - it blows all its predecessors away! It is well worth the price. It pretty much does everything you would expect of a picture frame.

First, its large size (10") makes for easy viewing both from close up and from across the room. Second, the picture quality and resolution are as good as you would expect. Finally, it's easy to use and set up (for example, it has an easy to set graphical start and stop time for each day of the week - I have mine turn on in the mornings on Saturday and Sunday and turn on around 4 pm on weekdays).

This frame was an upgrade from a very good 7" Phillips photo frame. Both the picture quality and features of the Sony are superior.

"Great product except for Amazon changed their 30 days price matching policy" 2009-12-02
By QV (Texas)
I bought this few weeks ago and was amazed at the picture quality, features especially scrap book display, and ability to hook it up to the TV via HDMI with Sony preset audio (2 to choose from). It would have been great product if Sony can add a feature to be able to play .avi files or video capture files from digital camera or other devices.

One thing to note that Amazon changed their 30 days price matching policy. I was not aware of this until I called customer service. I bought this Nov. 10 for $207.00, and on Nov. 30 they dropped their price to $191.98. Buyer beware...

"Read this if you have edited your photos on the computer!" 2009-12-01
By LJD
I crop, remove red-eye, sharpen, etc. almost all of my photos in iphoto on my Mac--what Sony doesn't tell you until you read the fine print in the troubleshooting section of the manual is that the digital frame does not support photos edited on the computer! So when I transferred the photos from the internal memory, some came through (strangely they were also edited), but most did not. After an hour on live chat with Sony, all they could say was that Sony does not support any photos edited on the computer.

Maybe if I used a memory card or stick? Do people not edit their photos on the computer? If there is anyone out there who can advise me on this issue, I'd be grateful--I'm frustrated and about to return the frame.

 "Excellent Image Display" 2009-11-10
By Gray Hair (Brooklyn, NY)
The picture display is excellent, which I believe is the most important attribute when selecting a digital frame. It is the reason I selected this product, and I am fully satisfied. That said, the image is wide screen, which is the direction the newer digital cameras are going. I am displaying the 50 to 90 year old family photos that are in an album on a shelf. Slective croping was needed to match the pictures to the display. I would recommend this product to anyone in the market for a digital frame, but you should understand the charastics of this product and the pictures you expect to display.

 "Great product, silly manual" 2009-11-01

Looks great and you can turn off the overbearing Sony light so the whole frame is just black.

Impressed as it resizes large photos for you and gives you the choice to fill the frame (which is 16:9) or leave the photos as is. Photos look great.

However, I found the manual to be hard to understand in regard to importing to the internal menu...you get there in the end...but it's so Sony in that special Japanese way.
